If I can score a mandrel bend I could make one. Is 4" OK, because I don't know if I can get a 5" bend in there without notching the firewall! (I'd do it if I had too)

I think 4" would be fine...
the radius of a 5" 90-deg bend would be too much...
If you can get someone to build a mandrel bent 4"...let us know how much it'd cost to produce some of them...I'd sure like a full 4" exhaust.
