Got a paint problem. painted my truck with chroma base and clear coat this past spring.....looked great! now then it has the look of safety glass when it is broke! little cracks all over it...You can see the cracks but can't feel them.

Any Idea's what happened?

my guess is either bad prep work or something was mixed wrong. or the base and the did primer you used did not get along. I would stop by where you got your paint and talk to them. did you paint it your self?

What kind of paint did you use? was the base and the clear the same brand?

 

Did you remove all the old paint from the truck?

Chroma base is a DuPont line of paint. It has a base coat and its own clear coat.
