does any body know where i could get a complete p pump conversion kit for the first gen. or just all the parts do do one(pump,lines,timing gear,injectors,ect.)ive looked on ebay and on the net and all i acan find is conversions for 24 valves.

The only thing I could think is to watch the classifieds close. I remember seeing one not that long ago. Make sure you check both the 1st and 2nd gen classifieds and you might also want to post in the wanted section.

I've been told from quite a few people (KTA is one of them) that just buying a 2nd gen engine, is a lot easier to swap in than just doing the pump conversion.

What is the reason you want to do the conversion anyways? Just curious.

 

just to personalize my truck, you dont see that many first gens with p pumps and i want to hit 500+ hp and i know the ve has trouble hitting that mark

 

Yeah, the VE does have a little trouble getting to the 500hp mark. I believe someone on 1stgen.org has all the stuff for a P Pump conversion. I'll check over there for you.

P-pump converts are simple, make sure you get the injectors and lines.
