Old Moog vs. new stuff....

Old Moog vs. new stuff....

Hi all, been reading and seems like there has been a change of suppliers on the moog parts? I'm about to replace my tie rod ends and would like the best I can get.

I went to the first parts house and had them bring out both brands of moog and their house brand. House brand=Tiwan= me and no thanks

Second was the moog and now they say "Assembled" in the usa.

I went to three different stores checkin around and finally found some in a yellow box (with dust) and say federal mogual on them. Also say "Problem solver". Are these the good 'ol parts that moog is known for?

Maybe.

I just went through this on the wife's Durango. Moog Problem Solver parts for both upper control arms/ball joints and one tie rod end. One ball joint and the tie rod end are toast within a year. These components did not come in a yellow box.
