Thought I somehow messed up on my oil separator design because after a year it started dribbling out of the K&N. Finally put a hose on the bottom and drained it into a Rudy's cup... I guess it was full and working perfectly!

 

This was my original design, ended up making a larger version out of PVC. Cut a long strip of expanded metal and wound it around the top tube.

 

Are you oiling your K&N to much?

 

I didn't empty it on time and it started pushing out oil through the breather, so to answer your question, yea, indirectly.

 

OK. I guess you're talking about an OIL breather. I was thinking about the K&N AIR filter.
