Oil presure built up time

My 91.5 takes about 5 to 6 seconds before the oil light goes out and the gauge starts moving up, I was wondering if that's the norm. This is only in the am, 30 to 40f , fresh oil change 5w-40w synthetic oil. Good oil pressure all other times.

That's what mine does...Mark I use 15-50 mobile 1, I think 40 is a little lite, my opinion of course.

The cooler the oil, the longer it takes to reach operating pressure. Mine takes about ten seconds to reach 60 pounds when it is ice cold. I am currently using Rotella T 15w-40 and the NAPA gold oil filter.
