New PATC transmission is in... need help

Yea because at least if you put the PATC VB in it, and it still does it...It's on PATC......
Maybe if the PATC VB cures the problem you can call up Suncoast and ask them what they think is wrong and see if you can get a refund (you could sell it used, but you'd be taking the chance of the SC VB doing the same thing in another guys' truck)
I hope you get it figured out. It'd frustrate me to have that much engine work and have a trans that i have to let out on the throttle to shift

Mine's been doing the same thing since I had it rebuilt.
I had a TransGo kit installed in the stock VB.
I backed off the recommended TV setting of full travel = WOT to about 3/4 travel at WOT.
If I set the high idle throttle steady at about 1000 rpm she shifts 1 - 2 about 27 - 28 mph and holds until there is a slight downhill then goes into 3rd.
Almost as if theres too much pressure holding it in 2nd and as soon as the pressure releases - because of the downhill or even a down slope - it can shift into 3rd.
I can floor it and the 1 -2 shift happens about 35 mph and then it hangs at about 60 until I just ease up - not really releasing the throttle, just kind of keeping it "on" the floor instead of squashed into the carpet.
Haven't got into the pan -- yet ....

do you not think your doing damage driving and towing with a transmission that is brand new and not working right???
i would never even dare!!!
as for the guy overfilling your trans fluid that can cause havoc to your line pressure it will fluctuate all over the place and probably burn your clutches out

Shifts to early
Here's some pics to help with this operation. When the VB is in place, you'll need to cut down the end of the 3/16ths allen wrench to make it work up there.
Put a pressure gauge in the main line test port on the passenger side about in the middle. This will allow you to see before and after pressures. A 0-300 is the best gauge to use, if you want to test every aspect of the trans. For just the base test, a 0-100 should be good.
First pic, is off the drivers side with the pan removed. You can't see the adjuster unless you look up at the edge of the VB.
2nd pic, is self explanatory.
Your pressure will only increase relative to throttle position. The more throttle, the more pressure, based on the kickdown cable adjustment.
