New parts for our trucks!!!!

Okay I have been thinking about this for a few weeks and it might sound a lil stupid but if we could create or find the origional mopar molds dyes and blueprints we could fab our own parts so if any of you have any ideas as to how we could set this in motion and start what dodge never did a remanufactoring company like ford and chevy have or shed some light on the fact that dodge would make a killing if they brought back all the parts for our old trucks just an idea but I thought I'd put it out there

I used to work for a large plating outfit in Phoenix and they had bought a lot of the old bumper press dies from the auto factories. They used them to repress and straighten bumpers to be re-chromed.I would think that, since there are so many suppliers involved, that it would be difficult to track them down, if they still exist. I have been wrong before......Mark

What folks don't seem to understand is that these parts take special tooling, and when you get on the wrong side of bankruptcy, the bean counters scrap out everything that doesn't produce profit in ten minutes.

It's what happens when free enterprise ceases to be free.
