New IP, New injectors, Now blue smoke at idle
No
Thats called unburned fuel.
Again IIRC and that was about 3years ago.
When I pulled my stock injectors they were clean and dry. basicly looked like a normal every thing on time spark plug.
later on in time when I pulled the DDP out they were what looked like a carbon fouled SP and damp.
I dont have the greatest eyes in the world. Normally I cant see the spray holes on a clean burning or new injectors. though the carbon foul the hole were plan as day.
Looked like belly buttons on the beach CANT miss then can you.
Funny thing is when took them to DDP the first thing that moron told me is I need a bigger turbo. The clown didn't know I all ready had a bigger turbo.

Funny you mention that they were wet. When I swapped my injectors 3 were wet and 3 were dry. I figured they all should be dry but maybe not...
On another note I'd like to see what your results are with the different washers. My truck hazed badly with blue smoke with my 7 hole injectors but don't have blue at all with my 5x16s. I used the thin washers on both sets

Haze was noticeably less. I has also reduced the timing from over 1/4 bump to 1/8. Still hazy but not as bad. Was just concerned about the 5 being wet and 1 dry. Gonna call DAP and see what they say about it.
Oh one of those outfits.
After my adventure with DDP I tend to stay away from those kind of shops.
I call them diesel powered wheelbarrow brothels If all they sell is bling for Dodge Ford Chevy trucks. Give me money I'll make you happy (no returns)

93, are those SAC or VCO injectors?
I bought a set of 7x.010 SAC's from CPP, used the thin washers, and advanced the timing. Otherwise pump still has the seals on it.
Lotsa power, but hazes at idle, extreme when cold. Builds boost quickly from the git go.
Cores he used were pretty pitted. Couple of them leaked, but he repaired them by putting the tips on one of my pristine cores and resetting POP. Took about 3 months total for the transaction. Won't do that again.
I also have acquired a brand new set of Bosch 432131837 injectors, (+40) I think I'll try when the weather gets warmer. Washers on em are .060"
What does SAC stand for anyway? These new injectors are in boxes with Portuguese writing on them Big letters SAC on one end, with "Servico de Atendimento Consumidor Bosch", which loosely translated means "Attentive Bosch Customer Service." Phone number is below it.

SAC refers to the small void or sack in the end of the tip. The plunger does not actually contact the end of the like in a a vco injector.
To answer the question of which ones i have I'm not sure. He says they are phasing the vco out in and replacing with sac style injectors. He's "pretty sure" they would have sent me sac style. From what I've found image wise online you can't always see the difference from the outside of the injector.

Found it in the Bosch VE manual.
I think they thought the droplet retained and sometimes dripped by the sac nozzle was significant enough to try to eliminate with the seat hole design. I also think they found the tradeoffs in reliability weren't worth it.

Might want to try play with the timing some more. The 7 holers in mine blue hazed and what I found helped the most was retarding the timing, that and bumping the idle speed up a bit (I`d say around 900-ish....using the ear-tach).
As I remember, I had to up my idle speed a bit. You got me onto something, I think.
Just took them back out and now had two dry and for wet. Carbonbuild up liked excessive for less than one hour of run time. Put stock sticks back in and have very very little haze. About what they did before the old pump went out. Truck also runs smoother. Local shop is gonna check out the 5x14s for free so about to go drop them off.
So you talked to this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXmEsP-kpN0
