Need help quick! Which leafs
Okay I'm pulling some leafs out of the rear to improve ride. I was going to pull the 2 shortest. But the bottom one looks different than the rest its about 1/2" thick and square. Should I pull that one or leave and pull the next 2
Nevermind.
I pulled the 2nd and 4th leaf. Made a nice ride difference, the severe pounding from hitting large bumps and potholes is down 50%. Seems to hook up better when leaning on it hard. I like it better now. It did drop the rear 2-3 inches, she sits almost level now.
I also added monroe gas magnum shocks while I was in there. The rears were chryler parts, fronts were rusty car quest.
The bad part is I found the center link and a tie rod was shot, I had to do about $200 in parts to fix it.
All in all it was a major task and I'm glad Its over.

Glad to hear you got things squared away
Sorry about the frontend parts, though. That can get pricey in a hurry
Now just slap some air bags under the back and get your load capacity back.
