Need a frame measurement

I am looking for a donor frame for my rotted plow truck.

Can someone tell me if the 8" channel existed on any 2wd pickups? If so most likely gonna be late 91 to 93 and ctd. Ideally that would be the donor of choice due to price. I need to splice in from the cab back and figured this is the fastest way to do it.

I also thought about a 250 or 350 van but I don't know anything about them other than they can be found cheap and I am not taking another first gen out of existence. Any idea?????

I am also open to suggestions on makeing my own frame or what to use to plate it, though i don't hjave lots of time to fab.

The rust wore one of mine thin. Crossmembers are mostly shot too.

Check the classifieds. Last I saw there was one or 2 frames for sale. Maybe it was over on CF I don't remember...

If the frame and crossmembers are that bad it may just be better to buy a frame from someone.

Only the rear half is bad as a salter ate right thru the bed. I have spliced at the rear of the cab before with good success.

Any body with a late 91 to 93 willing to check their 2wd truck for me to see if it is 8" tall behind the cab???

My 91.5 is only 6" deep. According to my '92 FSM, D & W frames are the same dimensions -- both with the 8" section height.
