My Videos!

Got some vids up finally Tell me what you think. Sorry the quality isnt good. Youtube compresses the files too much and makes them look terrible. They were taken with an HD camera too..

Personally, I only tangle from a rolling start--usually from 35-ish in 4th if I can get somebody to bite. The Getrag shifts so slow, the average VW beetle (the air-cooled type) can beat me through the first 3 gears. Catch me at the bottom of 4th, however, and you better be packing a big block

BTW, Welcome to DTR Okie!

Thanks for the compliments! It does pretty well lining up with the new diesels. My uncle has an 04 Duratrash with the allison tranny. he comes off the line at near full boost and I can stay with him. I beat his Edit in a race. Then he turned the bullydog all the way up on the next run and ended up 1.5 truck lengths ahead of me. If he would have had a manual trans I know it would have been different I didn't have all of my mods back then either. Keep posting everyone! I want to know where I stand.

Yeah i bet, mine is not the fastest but i have ran away from a few stock common rail cummins off the line, but im only good through about 65 mph, then it just slowly climbes. From what i have read i can improve that with an old smokey fuel pin and a shift kit, i think anyways.

You can fix that with the 3200 rpm governor spring--those 4.10's are hurting you up top
