Mufflers?
Looking for Muffler to instal between the transfer case and the elbow going up to my stacks? I am running 4 inch to the 5 inch Y pipe in the bed for the stacks. this thing is LOUD in the cab, but the wife says it is quiter outside the truck. I want to keep the tone deep but not as loud. Keep hearing about guys buying custom mufflers but no one is coming up with names or any info on them. Any one out there know of anybody making mufflers for the Diesels other then the $150 and $up ones listed as major brands. my Exaust is under 7 months old so buying a New system is out of the question.
go to bigexhaust.com and look at their house brand muffler. I hear it works good and is generic and cheap, well 86.58 + shipping....

MBRP has a couple of resonators that are not very long and would knock down some of the loudness for you and give you what your looking for. They are not a ton of money too. 4" Inlet and Outlet, 6" OD, 30" total length. You can visit our web site to see what they look like in either 409 stainless of aluminized versions.
I am running a setup like yours (4" past transfer to muffler then 4"to stacks). I am running a DynoMax 4" bullet muffler I got through Summit racing. Less tha $40. It takes the edge off, without being restrictive. I have put 25000 miles on without any change in sound, so I don't believe they soot up bad or blow out the packing.
