Low pressure fuel line...

Can any of my 1st Gen brothers tell me where to purchase a low pressure fuel line? I'm looking for the section that feeds directly into the injection pump. Is a hyd. Feed pump worth the effort?

This the one you're talking about...?

P/N: 3918641, price from Cummins as of Feb. '10 is $28.93

P/N for the seal at the other end of it in case you need it is #3905351. It's price is $8.21. Kinda high for what is essentially a thick, flat o-ring but, it's what you pay if you need it.

Hey Jimbo,
How is your truck coming along?

It's been a few year since I have seen you last and I remember you had a lot of work in progress.

It's running great, thanks! At the moment, I've been trying to focus on the exterior in order to get it cosmetically sound. It's going to take a lot of prep work and I'll have to get some paint equipment to do it right. I'd like to remove the bed so that I can get to the back of the cab and to work on the bed as well. Removing the bed is gonna be a project in itself. In my FSM, the curb weight of the truck is anywhere from 4,600-4,900lbs. as a cab & chassis. I've tipped the scales at 6,600lbs. so after some easy math, the bed weighs around 2,000lbs.
