Low power and boost problem

It's a High volume Low pressure piston pump from The Hungry Diesel. I really like it.
About the air leak, the engine always starts good except occasionally when I park with the front up hill like on a steep parking lot and then it will take a little longer to start.
Also if I drive it fairly easy and keep it under 2k rpm it usually don't seem to get air quite as bad, but if I ever romp on it prety good or wind it out past 2k it seems to get air in the lines worse.
