I was looking through the sticky to prepare myself to kill my Dowel Pin, and the link won't open for the good how -to. I can open the DodgeRam.org one, but it is not good enough for me to go by. I am looking for the detailed one with pics. Can anyone else find it?

 

I just tried it but nothing for me either. Go over to 1stgen.org and try theirs. Or do a search here and sift through the threads. You might also try youtube, there's probably something there also.

 

I did mine a about 2 weeks ago. I asked on here and a guy had a link to a blog he made that helped me, try searchin for my thread or others. I took a few pics so let me know if you want them but its not too bad at all. You can about tear one of these whole motors apart with just a 10mm.

Wow, that video was a good find. Scared me for a minute when he talked about removing the Pump and Cam, but then I realized he had to replace the whole housing because his Dowel Pin had already gone off the deep end.

Makes the KDP fix look easy after watching him fix the aftermath.
