Well I have been driving the 24V all week. So last night i thought i would drive the first gen to a Haz Mat class i am taking. Guy there starts talking diesel with me and i let it slip that the 6.4 we have at work sucks. Mileage is terrible and power is not that impressive. He promptly tells me that 6.0s are trouble free and super powerful. (we have one of those too, with 145K and two engines under its belt.) So I just back off.
When the class ends i walk out and fire up the truck. He jumps in his and rides my tail through town. I already know whats coming. As we merge on the interstate he starts coming around and i let him go by. Well he hits the brakes and drops back beside me. I hate that! So i let him have it, i let off when my GPS said 117 mph and my Egt and Boost were 1300 and 32psi. He was about a 1/4 mile back.
Cant wait until the next class. Im not gonna even bring it up. I bet that will kill him.

Street racing is illeagal, and we do not discuss it on the DTR. If it would have been on the track, it would be a great story...
