Kelderman air ride
Kelderman air ride
So how are these systems for the front and back. I have found a of a deal on a used set that is complete. Just wondering if it worth the work to buy it and put it on

The system im seeing for sale has two bags one on each side and the back has some bracing and just 1 big bag in the back. Im guessing this is the old style. The one i seen on their website is two bags in the back. Is yours a 2 or 1 bag system?

The Kelderman's do help, but not as much as I had hoped. I suspect a better means of softening one's ride is to upgrade to modern leaf springs on all four corners.
A benefit I didn't anticipate however is the ability to load 2 tons of riprap in the bed and just throw air at the rear Keldermans until the truck is level.
I have the two-bag rear system. I believe the older one-bag sytem will prevent your carrying the spare tire under the bed?

mine is the 2 bag system, and to be honest, its still really stiff in the back. And with the system like that, it enables the axle to move a lot. So if you really get on it, the axle wrap is unbelievable. im thinking of making some ladder bars to help.
