just swapped motors truck wont start;HELp

Well i just installed a different motor in my 93, the motor i put in was also out of a 93. i hooked up everything today, but the truck wont fire. the truck cranks relly fast, but wont fire.

when i first hit the key it fired for about 1 second, then after that it wont fire, it just cranks real fast. what should i do next?

Check for air in the lines. Crack open somewhere between the LP and the IP. Then crack the injectors. See which one is the problem. Hope this helps!

if you get 12 volts at the pump, fuel at the injectors and it is not making any smoke it is the solinoid on the pump. It will look like you are getting fuel but it is not enough psi to pop the injectors. Take it out and take out the spring and plunger and toss it and use a kill cable on the manual kill on the side of the pump.

i bled the lines and it fired right up. now i just gotta fix the oil leak from the turbo.
