howdy, while i was on the way home from a job i stomped on the go pedal across our bride and was at top boost 30 psi and my intercooler rubber turbing boot when BANG! so i figured i might of did something to the transmission, but then looked at my boost and had nothing, so that confirmed that, anyway to my point, whats good intercooler rubber tube boot's and is it necessary on these intercooled trucks to upgrade the size of metal boost tubes?

may not be necessary, depending on your goals for your truck, most only go to 3 inch tubes when installing a p/s intercooler or similar because the cooler has 3 inch in and outlets on it.
but if you are going to upgrade and have a welder you can make some 3 inch tubes, these ones i made from the old exhaust out of the truck.
