Injector Washers

I have a set of brand new PODS and got the DPE59000 injector install kit. The thinest washers (don't remember the size, but they are very thin) are the ones to use right? Also, what are the dust rings in the kit?

The dust rings I can answer, they go in the lock nut that holds the injector in place, to keep garbage out of the injector bore.

The thin ones are the ones that are recommended. I tried them last, still did not make any difference that I could tell. I pulled mine back out after about 10,000. Milage was not good and worse with the winter temperatures.

Hmmm, guess I'll just stick them in with the thins. The injectors came with the truck, not my choice of injector but they are new and they were in the deal.
