I've noticed the past couple weeks that my truck has started rattling and seems to have lost a little power. The best way I can describe it is its exactly like a 3rd gen when they have a lot of timing. Its quiet when you let off the throttle but when you get back on it the rattle comes back. Its also started to put out gray smoke under light acceleration. The only thing Ive done that may have any affect is I added Howes fuel treatment. It has me stumped right now.

 

Are you losing any lube oil?

 

maybe the KSB is stuck on and giving to much timming?

 

The oil is good but its time to be changed and I have the ksb unhooked. I don't think it could be timing because it started right up the other morning at 15f with no grids or block heater. I'm wondering if its a fuel pressure issue or pulling air.
