IM Coming Back to where I belong
During the past couple months, my dodge has been sitting on the back burner due to a bad wheel bearing and front spindle. To fill the void of my cummins, ive had a porsche 924 turbo, a mustang gt, and a nissan 720 4x4 and ive driven them all into the ground over the past couple of months. My dodge lasted me a whole 2 years(longest ive kept a car) I hate emmisions and I hate this little known thing our trucks DONT require.. trouble shooting. Heck, theres only a few things that can stop our motors from running. My last couple cars seemed downright fragile in comparison. Anyways, now that i'm back on the right path, can anybody point me in the right direction for aquiring a decent spindle for cheap? Ive scoured most of the junkyards to no avail and i cant afford a new one and i dont know of a machinist who can weld and machine my damaged one.
i was 16 when i remachined the rear spindle on my dana 70 and 2 years later i havent had a problem, i had to completely rebuild the rear spindle, with new tubing and new threads, it was mangled after the wheel and axle shaft assembly went for a holiday haha
