What would be a fair price to pay for a new in the box hx35w? what about a used one? found one on craigslist for $350 and from my understanding thats high but if i talk him down mid to low $200s is it a good deal?

 

Well I got mine for free off my gf grandmas 96 but 2k miles later came a rebuild. But I found a used one in my area for 215. That seems to be a round figure on a used one

 

I think I paid 150$ if I remember correctly. Make sure it comes with the correct exhaust flange or you will have to fab/buy something

 

I believe he said its off a 2nd gen and I was planning on buying a 16cm exhaust housing anyway, I believe he said its got a 12 on it.

 

Would I want this to be wastegated or non?

 

I got an early 98 waist gated and it had the correct flange. I have since swapped out the WG housing for a Non WG 16cm so that i can tow. The original housing chokes the exhaust down alot
