Hx-40

I just bought a HX-40 off of a 8.3 cummins. I was planning just using the 16cm housing i bought and getting a htt hybrid kit and keeping my stocker. Is the HX-40 too big for low 300 hp and daily driving? If I do decide to let her go what do you guys think a HX-40 with no shaft play and a non wastegated housing goes for??

I'd put the whole turbo on. with an auto w/stock converter it'll be fine.

Is it a T4 foot? What size exhaust housing does it have? Important factors, it may not even work.

If its a T4 or it has some huge exhaust housing. Put the compressor off the hx40 onto your stock turbo, and make a H1C/HX40 hybrid...then use your 16cm housing and you'll have a nice turbo for 300hp

It looks to be a T4 housing. Crossy are you saying to put the 21cm housing off my truck on it or the 16cm??

You can get a T4-T3 adapter. You'll want an HX40 with a 16cm housing.
