I finished the KDP fix (pin had not moved at all). While I had access, I jumped 2 teeth on the pump gear. Don't need that much increase, but I'm tired of not having any space between IP and the head. Could someone hep me out with torque spec for the nut on the pump shaft.

Check the sticky for torq specs.
How big are your injectors? Two teeth is quite a bit of timming. Hope it all works out good for ya.

I had checked sticky and did not find it; will check again. Thanks. I realize two teeth is a giant step, and have been having second thoughts all day. I don't want to have to do this again soon, but my situation is this; I previously had my IP shoved ALL the way to the head to align the stock timing marks and I'm thinking jump two and retard pump as far as the slots will allow.I have no experience with this; I just read the threads, look at the pics, and dive in head first. Thanks to all for your knowledge, direction, and support........Opinions on my situation please.

I run my IP with two teeth advance with the factory marks lined up plus a hair or two. With that, I found the IP timed right at 2.8mm @ #1 TDC.

Bringing the IP further back (before the factory mark) to the bottom of its slot might put you back at 2.00mm ish. (Maybe).

Let it be known that I'm running a 0.010" over head gasket with valves that have been unshrouded some, both of which are gonna lower my compression ratio a bit.
I'm also running Shiede 0.016" EDMs. I'm pretty sure they flow a little more than the PODs.

You may still have to back off more . . . I dunno.
