headlights...no marker lights

here's my problem. coupla weeks ago had an issues with marker/dash lights blowing fuses when high beam on. replaced multifunction switch and found short of my own creation due to BHAF plate. Drove about 80 miles yesterday to pick up new front end loader for tractor. Had lights on whole trip with trailer tied in, no problem. As I left and was headed down the road bam, fuse popped. replaced and did it again. drove home with four ways on. I still have head lights, brake lights, four ways and turn signals. I dropped off trailer and ran dad home. put in new fuse and no prob on the 1/2 mile drive to my house. so i'm thinking headlight switch...opinions????

Maybe so. I went ahead and dropped the 20.00 and replaced the 17 yr old switch anyhow.
