head studs
The easiest and most smart aleck response is until it lets go.
It depends on whether you use 14mm head studs rated at 200,000 psi or the full race set rated far higher. It also depends on the quality of head gasket used. Guys on here have used Fel-Pro head gaskets with good luck, and some have had issues with them. It is said to use a Cummins head gasket for the best. There are other aftermarket head gaskets out there Commit(sp?) is one that is most talked of for running higher pressures.
If you really want to guaranty higher boost pressures, then installing fire rings is the way to go.
One saying that keeps coming up is: "If you wanna play you are gonna pay!". The question is, do you want to pay a little now or a lot later?
Just my thoughts,
Glenn
