What is that mount on top of the punkin fer?

Is that a 1410 yoke? Can you get bigger ones for it?

The mount on top is for another bar to tie into the hitch and yes thats a 1410 yoke I think it the biggest yoke you can get for the HO72

Now I see why Harbor Freight was out of jack-stands the other day.


What is the black steel gizmo with the red hitch-pins that, in the picture, looks like it is holding up the fuel-tank ??(I'm sure it's an optical illusion.)

The HO72 is an inch and a half wider at the wheel mounting surface, so physically it fit under a 1st gen very nicely

Cool part about the H series axles is that thrust shoe that keeps the ring gear from creeping away from the pinion, and the pinion being straddle-mounted. Good luck tryin' to break that once it's set up correctly!

The gear in the rear is a 4.57, and yes we just dropped the front out friday night to do the gear change toss a powr loc in and upgrade to the D70 outers, hopefully gonna be goin back in monday night

Thanks for the compliments, Jeff has done most of the work I just come over to help with some of the heavy stuff and welding mounts and perches on
