Ground issue
Ground issue
Well I'm having a ground problem and I dont really know where to start looking, hoping someone has had the same experience and can lead me in the right direction. Problem is when I turn my headlights on, both of my blinker lights light up, also my horn doesn't work anymore just hear it clicking. I'm going to snoop around tomorrow to see if I can't find anything myself, but im kind of retarded
when it comes to anything to do with wires.
Thanks for any advice

Sounds like the front sheet metal (head light surround, what ever its called) is not grounded. Jump a ground to it from the battery to see what happens.
Isn't there normally a wire (about 10 gauge) grounding that front piece to the battery -ive? I'll take a look later.
JP.

When I turn my lights on my turn signal indicators light up dim in the dash. Mine has done it ever since I put the led lights in. Check the ground wire near the battery on the rad support. Those side marker lights get their ground through the front turn signal lights so if a bulb is out that can also mess things up. But I don't know about the horn.
Well all my grounds are good. Have a feeling its the relay for my horn. My dad is going to look at it tomorrow as he knows a heck of a lot more about this stuff than I do. One thing weird I noticed when checking things out is when I took the fuse out for the horn the signal lights would not come on dim anymore...
