does it hurt anything to not wait on the (wait to start light) to go out.my truck starts so easy weather I wait or not,and our winters are so mild here.but I didnt know if it might would hurt anything.Thanks Bob

Nope, won't hurt a thing. My grid heaters been sitting on a shelf two years now.
