i just picked up a cummins engine for 100$, #5 piston is melted out but i have a rebiuld kit on the shelf. it came witha brand new head (non intercooled) and a brand new baby h1c turbo. kdp took out the timing case and there is no injector pump. but no worries i'll get a timing case for a p pump and buy a new p7100 pump. what do you think good deal or no?

A block will bring almost that for scrap. I think you got a good deal. Plus, you can build stuff to your liking.

I think you ought to keep the VE and join the race to 700hp.
