Just want to let you guys know I will be without a computer for awhile. We found my Mom a house, so she's moving out and taking the computer with her . I made her wait to take the computer last. She'll be taking it this weekend. I might check in say once a week for awhile, when I go and cut her grass, but then it will be more like once a month. So forgive me for not getting back to yall's emails and PM's as quickly as I do now. Come tax check time I might get me a nice computer, but until then, I need to find a new hobby . Maybe I'll start a garden . Take care and I'll talk to you guys soon.

 

Buy yourself a cheap refurbished emachine for $199 after rebate. All you need to do is find somebody with a monitor their not using anymore

If you can swing $400 go with a new Dell. For that price you get a nice monitor too.

At least then I'll know my computer is WAY more powerful than Bill's tiny little machine.

Oh I'll still have the Cummins Turbo Diesel hobby. Just won't be boosting my post count on here as much. Give jrussell a chance to catch up. 1000ftlb will be easy. If I can get my fuel system done by Scheid's event August 26th, I should be over 1000ftlb and hopefully at 500hp. The 600hp, now that will be tough and $$$$.

I'll probly be able to get me a computer off one of my friends or family members when they upgrade to a newer one. Course it won't be a high speed chicken feed one like this .

 

If you wanna come up to K'zoo I'll let you have one of the ones we got from a local college for what we paid for it; $50.00, Monitor, keyboard speakers and mouse included. I'd GIVE it to you if we didn't have any money into it ourselves!

They ain't fast, (Pentium 2 I think), but they'll get ya on the internet! We were keeping them around as 'spares', but they're getting outdated even for that now.
