Sounds like another satisfied owner. My experience has been that the auto's perform better towing than the getrags do. Something about the getrag makes it seem like the truck straining more to pull the same load.

^That's very true. Mine also sounds like the worlds going to end when I downshift it.

 

your autos must have had decent converters in them then.
