Gauge Cluster Restoration

Since I put in the new dash pod and Autometer Z-Series gauges in...well...the factory dash looks sad.

I decided I wanted to repaint the needles and polish up the lens again. When I bought the truck I had already cleaned the black gauge area, numbers and lines.

I'm VERY happy with the results and I have created a webpage describing what I did and what I used. It can be found Here

Here's a before and after comparision

The pictures don't do it justice. They match great with the Z-Series and the dash looks awesome now. They also look great at night with the lights on and have a slight glow to them.

That's a great page, Den! Maybe when I get bored with tweaking stuff under the hood I'll tackle that project. Those gauges look great!

On edit: looks like you put some time to write it all down for us on the other web page. I just wanted to say thanks. Now I know what to get.

That's some great work, den! I happen to have a spare cluster out of my 86 w150 that I may practice on today. Wish my speedo went to 100...
