faulty injectors??

I was talking to a fellow today and he was telling me he had a couple faulty injectors. The only way he knew is that his fuel milage went down. no rough idle, no miss at speed, just poor fuel economy. What say you??

Re:faulty injectors??

Can happen.. I noticed it on my old truck (yes the 89 :) that a single injector was sticking a bit. Mileage was takin a down turn and I noticed my oil got dirter faster. One tip was under WOT I would get a couple puffs of black every now and then.

The only way I found the injector was when I had the truck in for a tune up and they "pop-tested" each injector and one stuck open. Good test for a high miler thats for sure.
