Engine shut off after WOT under load

Just put on a new to me VE pump and truck sounds brand new but is cutting off after a hard run. Starts right back up like nothing happened immediately after with no effort. The truck runs extremely smooth idling and under load. It just cuts off kind of abruptly right after throttle is closed. If it was a fuel delivery issue, I'd think it would run out of steam during the run.

I used my old AFC housing since it was set the way i wanted. I have new filter and the HVLP lift pump. Power screw isn't buried or anything. No huge injectors. 3200rpm spring. stock motor basically.

I did have trouble getting it started at first before i realized the power screw was way too far out. I've turned it in a little (and turned out my idle screw to compensate) since discovering this cut off issue but not sure that helped.

You might try turning the power screw in another 1/4 to 1/2 turn, I think that will fix the problem.
