ecm (grid heater) location

just bought a 1992 club cab 2wd for parts.it has been cannibalized.can't find the ecm.i looked to the drivers side of the steering column on the cowl where it is in my 1990 and i don't even see any holes or marks where it could have been.is that where it should be or could it be somewhere else?

The ecm is on the fender on the driver side beside the battery. It is kinda tucked in the fender next to the headlight. The grid heaters are in the intake right where the air tube comes in it is square. And the grid heater relays are on the driver side inner fender behind the battery kinda near the hood hinge.

The grids are controlled by the PCM on IC models.
