Drivers side window question

Drivers door window had issues. Now has new motor new window channels and clean lubricated mechanism. Problem is the window glass was out of the channel it is supposed to be glued in at the bottom. What is supposed to be used to adhere the glass to the metal and where can I find it

Generally, if something is glued to the glass, the glass will come from the factory with that piece permanently attached to it. If you want to try to repair it on your own, I would think urethane adhesive would be the thing to try. A glass shop may have a good idea of something they could supply you with if you ask them.

If that happened to me which it did.
I just took it to the local glass shop. I cleaned it they glued it no charge. I tipped them of course.

You could take your truck to the shop I guess.
I my case is easier for me to put the window in my subaru and drive that.

I used black silicone, applied liberally from a tube in a caulking gun, then tied it tight with bungee cords and left it for about two days to fully cure, ... my channel had corroded badly so I really laid it on and gave it full cure time. So far so good after about two years.
