Downside of 3200 gov spring
A really unexpected negative of my recent gov spring change and fuelling bump reared it's ugly head.
It is now not nearly so much fun to drive the old Volvo. Sure it handles really well still but it's power, which seemed fairly adequate is now inadequate.
Also, since I have to whip the old brick so much harder now, all of the slop in the drive line has come clunking and banging to the forefront.
I will have to put a complete set of high performance bushings in the old beast just to have it feel like it used to feel before the old Cummins got 3200 valve spring religion. and I am only half kidding.

It is getting worse. Weather here has dropped into the single digits........... 40 degrees F and it is like I have an intercooler that does not depress boost levels. Pretty soon I will pull the duct tape off the swiss cheese airbox. Time to plug up the front grill. And diesel prices have just dropped. Oh, it is awful.
