I love the power and mileage I get with my 92 and the reliability is unbeatable. I don't have the money right now at all to do this but my 92s engine made me think about it would be do to do a conversion with my other truck that has sat for 8 years now and still has a great body it is my 68 chevy 1 ton 2wd. It was my 1st truck and the body is great so could I buy a 1st gen cummins 4wd with a crap body for a good price and just put the chevy body on there with some cutting and welding?

 

probably if you're inclined enough to do the job. Anything is possible.

 

You can do almost anything with enough money. If it was Me I rather swap the engine on the truck I already have running but I can see why You want to use the body on a 4x4 would make it easier.
