Cuttin out

I was wondering if anyone ever had one of these motors cut out on you. It seems that once in a while it seems as if the engine cuts out, just for a split second and then comes right back to where it was on the rpm scale.

It doesnt do it all the time, just seems to be maily in 2nd or 3rd, although I dont think its gear related. Other than that it runs out nice, without any problems. Idles fine. No excessive smoke and color is normal.

I do have the starwheel turned about 1 turn and the smoke screw in about a turn, so not much there for pump mods.
Any ideas?

Check the wire at the fuel shutdown selonoid. A bad connection there will cause your problem.
