Cruise Control Problem

I am having a strange problem that I can’t seem to find a solution to. When I engage my cruise control my speed will slowly creep up. The cruise worked perfectly before I upgraded my truck (see signature).

Mine quit all togeather. Check the switches on you stearing wheel they control the coast and exceleration part of the cruse control they may be sticking. I need to order new ones for my truck to see if I can get mine working again.

All the switches check out fine. I can press the accel button and it will accelerate faster and I can press the decel button and the truck will slow down. The problem is that I can't hold a constant speed. The truck will continue to slowly accelerate. This is driving me nuts! Does the cruise use the same sensor as the speedometer?

Someone please help!

Your speed control is held by vacume check you cable to your throdle and see if it slips there maybe that is the problem.
