Unhappy Coolant drip?

It appears that I have a slight coolant leak, its not like pouring out but starts dripping when I get the rpms up and build up pressure. Its coming from somewhere on the right hand side if your sitting in the truck, and seems to be right up in the front somewhere down low.I just cant pin-point where its coming from.I had some loose screws on some of my hose clamps down there so I tightened those up real good.Where else could it be coming from down low on the right?

Headgasket or that little 90* bend heater-hose at the bottom of the steel tube.

Or, possibly, the steel tube has rusted out.

Water pump is in that vicinity too. You may check it.

or couldnt it just be the RAD i know mine one day i was driving early in the morning and i went to stop and i had coolant spill out the top coulple of tubes of the RAD. one thing you can do is to keep the pressure off just turn the cap about 90' to where its not holding pressure just venting it, while still holding in the fluid. or at least until you can check it out. but buy some of that RAD stop leak stuff, it works wonders for cheap.

My old '93 auto had a tranny cooler line rub through the Radiator tank once. It held presure most of the time but it would drip occasionally.

Could be water pump, head gasket, or the heater hose.

In my experience, the heater hose elbow wont drip- it splits down the middle and coats your hood with antifreeze. BTDT 3 times; it is now a standard replacement with fluids and oils when I get a "new" truck.

The head gasket leak I am referring to is under the #1 cylinder of the head, passenger side. It is what is called a "nuisance leak." Mine got to be a qt per week nuisance (I fill up every 3-4wks, and I get 17mpg), so I did the head gasket. No more leak.

The water pump has a weep hole on the bottom of it. Get a NEW one if you need one, it isnt that much more than a reman, and you have no idea how bad the core was to rebuild the reman from.
