The sound deadener is Fat Mat Rattle Trap that I got on ebay. The back wall carpet is actually a roll of carpet I got at Walmart in the automotive section for $9. It works great for surfaces you don't walk on.

My favorite so far, ... everything on it contributes to the low-slung road hugging look that I like in the 2WDs. I put step rails for that reason, and to allow easier access of course.

Man these trucks make me drool my heap is horrible looking compared to all of these rigs and its these kind of 1st gens that inspire me! I remember a farmer that rented the field next to our house years ago and he had the banks stuff on his rig and it was his farm trailer hauler and that truck had no muffler and it was a 5 speed she wasn't pretty but she smoked like mad and sounded even better thats pretty much when I decided I wanted a diesel that sound was amazing! the truck later came up for sale for 8,000 even though it had towed some serious trailers. Such as 5th wheel with a full spray tank system and she pulled it no probs whatsoever gotta love these old power houses!!!!!!!!!

 

Nice truck. Not often you see Club Cab 5 speed trucks. I'd love to run all over the country in a truck like that, my 4x4 rides to rough to drive more than a few hours.

 

That thing is CLEAN! you know a truck is clean when it's ALL BLACK and you can't see a ding in it.
