Can't run a carfax but I can tell you a little about it from the VIN# some of which you probably already know.
3 = Assembled in Mexico
K = GVWR 8001- 9000 lbs
E = 2 wheel drive
2 = 250 Job Rated
3 = Club Cab
9 = Engine code - This # should be an 8 - VIN decoder does not show a 9.
M = Plant Location - Lago Alberto

It's similar to my '93. One thing I have found is that the paint on Mexico truicks is generally less likely to peel. Hope this helps.

I really want this truck, and have a 92 ranger with low mileage, V6, and a mint 87 Chevy SWB 4x4 that this guy wants to trade for. Let me know if you guys think it's worth it...

My Service Manual shows the following engine codes for '93s.
X - 3.9L (MPI)
Y - 5.2L (MPI)
Z - 5.9L (EFI)
5 - 5.9L HDC
8 - 5.9L Turbo Diesel

It shows no other engine codes for our trucks. There is an outside posibility that it might be a late '93 and as a result might have a slightly different engine code. I can check on Monday and let you know.

autocheck.com comes up with a valid rig for that vin number.

This info is from clicking on the vin# in the auction and going to auto checks page. My account expired after I bought my 92 or I would run a full report for you.

Your best bet is to pop for the cash to do a vin check. Well worth the money for piece of mind.
