a/c pump wires

I see two wires on the 89 a/c pump I have just like on the ford system I have. I need to connect mine to the cummins and wonder if this is a power and ground deal. The wires are one black and the other black with a white stripe I need to know if one is positive and the other ground and if Yes which one.

Thank You.

Hook up an ohmmeter to ground and then the wires one at a time. If one of them shows 0 ohms resistance, that's a ground.
