I cannot get my bucket seat on the passenger side to latch after lifting it to get something out of the back I have taken it almost all the way apart and dont see any reason why it should not latch. Is there a trick to get this thing working again?

 

Kind of a dumb question, but the latch didn't close on you after you picked up the seat, did it? Mine wouldn't always catch on the first try because the hinge was loose, and the latch would close. Had to pull the lever again to reopen it. Otherwise, the bottom of the latch would just hit the loop.

 

Thats the problem the latch is open and goes over the pin like its supposed to but its like it is in a bind internallly the handle wont return to the normal position and still wont latch.
