Well, I have not really found all the info on this, what is the best shift kit and toqure converter for the money for our trucks?

My mods will probably make it up to a BHAF, HX-35, 4" straight exhaust and pump mods for fuel and boost on a N/W 16 cm housing.

For the money, the Hughes converter with a Trans-Go shift kit will wake things up for you. Sure there are more pricier components to choose from, but, for the money, you're getting good quality.

Thanks, I will not be throwing alot of extra power to it.

 

I'm happy with the Transgo shift kit in mine. The stock converter still sucks, but at least the clutches/bands don't slip now. It also firmed up the shifts a bit.
