auxilliary fuse block

How would I wire an auxilliary fuse block to run multiple accessories only when the ignition is on?

I just ordered Painless Wirings new p/n 30004 fuse block it has 20 fuse positions.

I hope to install it in the coming weeks and will let you know how it works.

I have 9 items to run off of it to start.

Think you would have to tap into the keyed pwr wire and run a lead off that to your fuse block... I need to do the same, so take some pics and post it up when your done... Let me know what color the keyed pwr is too!!!
Good luck

what i did was get one of the 6 blade fuse blocks from autozone and a heavy duty 40 amp relay and pulled the ignition on wire from my radio to switch the relay then i used 8 guage wire to feed the relay from the battery with a self reseting 40 amp cicuit breaker. I run my off road lights, cb, guages, and a 12v outlet off of this and i have had no problems.

Thats the best way. I would not be pulling lots of power off from an existing cicuit. The relay takes very little power to activate. The big draw then comes off the wire from the battery.

I went the same route as comptz. I've had it running for about 5 years with no problems.
